In this final episode of season one we explore the possibilities of human expression in an unedited space.
Your pain is not you.
There are pathways in our brain that are built from life experience. When we live through traumatic moments, these pathways are used to store memories and trap emotions leading to all sorts of psychological distress and suffering. We feel damaged somehow and find ways to cope with the pain or we look for an exit. The truth is, your brain has not been damaged and neither have you - it’s the stories conjured up by fear that are doing the damage.

Identity, addiction and you.
Every person on the planet is addicted to something. We’re all attached to some idea of who we are and why we live the way we do; what’s important and what’s not and which parts of our lives we can’t live without. We feel like we need these attachments as they form the basis of our identity and without them we feel lost. Our addictions and self-obsession impede our growth in a world that is changing faster than we are able to from within.

The chemistry of life.
From an early age, we absorb information from our environment and it gets locked into a way of being. This forms the basis of our belief structures and becomes the framework from which we enforce and defend our individual behaviour, creating the collective reality in which we all live and share. As this pattern repeats from generation to generation, humanity slowly trudges along never fully realising it is completely trapped in a fear-based survival mode, almost devoid of truth.
The chemistry of life is the story that binds us; the collision between truth and fear; right and wrong; good versus evil. As we rise up in a more conscious space through awareness, we push fear out of the human brain and bring forth a new chapter in human evolution - a new clarity - a new expression of life.
Planet selfish?
Everyone enforces their opinions, ideals, religions and ways of being onto others, without understanding the nature and creation of their thoughts. This behaviour is driven by fear and demonstrates just how little we are capable of caring about anything other than ourselves. We constantly try to out-manoeuvre one another in an attempt to gain control and “win” the game of life … but we are gambling with our future as this process is too resource-draining and gives little back. So no one individual is responsible, we all are, irrespective of our existing beliefs.
The road not taken.
Our survival brain attempts to deal with situations as quickly as possible as we are programmed to chase ‘good’ feelings and run away from ‘bad’ ones. This reactive behaviour exposes how vulnerable we are and how fear governs our entire existence. As we look for the quick-fix or easy-road through life we fail to see that our behaviour is ultimately because we are afraid of what we don’t know.
Freedom from fear.
We are all to some degree intimidated by the systems we are in, whether they be the internal systems of the mind or the systems of the societies we have created, as both are purpose-built to effectively keep everything under control. So we lash out, we behave badly, we protest, we fight, we blame and we wail at our wretched lives. Or we submit, we play it safe and we create false harmony by connecting with others of the same belief structure. We never change. We never stand up against fear. We never have the strength and courage to stand strong in who we are and to speak true to what is …. until now.
Convenience, deception, survival ... what’s the link?
The systems that control us deceive us and present information that is convenient, easily believed and far from the truth. We also lie all the time, to ourselves and others, as a survival technique to avoid facing the truth and as a way to justify our behaviour. It’s time we lift the veil and have a good look at what lives behind the curtain of fear.
Ignorant, arrogant or aware?
We’re a destructive species in a violent universe, our ignorance and arrogance keeping us trapped in a perpetual state of insanity. We have been given a gift to look beyond what is, and create something brand new in this world, yet we keep saying yes to the deceit, bullshit and violence. Why?
Where do we go from here?
The human brain can function in two ways, with or without fear. The with-fear version is the one we’re in today and creates everything we see. Living without fear is a possibility, but can we get there from here?
Are you locked in to a way of being?
Thinking too much about self creates the psychological conditions afflicting everyone on the planet; stress, anxiety, depression. It’s time to wake up and face the truth about who we are.
The heart of human existence is violence.
Human emotions - are they the key to expanding human thought? As it is fear that creates the building blocks of life, it is therefore the energy that guides every single thought and emotion within the human mind. It creates a violent reality which functions in a similar fashion to the powerful forces of gravity in our universe.
Have you experienced enough life? Have you felt enough?
The opportunity awaits for us to move beyond our limiting and destructive systems of thought into a more expansive space. Here we can be more aware, present and true to the real us. Just being in the ‘now’ is not enough. Let’s go on a deeper journey of exploration and unite in truth rather than beliefs. This needs to be the foundation of what we create in the outer world.
A new language for life.
Imagine a world on the brink of collapse. Imagine everyone from that world has finally engaged in real conversation; taking a bold look at themselves, their behaviour and exploring the importance of the natural state of honesty. What would that look like?
Do we have what it takes to begin communicating in a different way, a more honest way, to take responsibility for our behaviour and to stop avoiding the real issues facing everyone on the planet today? Or is Gollum real, living in all of us, a creature who is completely lost in wanting, trapped by fear and on a path of self destruction?
The truth can't hurt you, only your resistance to it.
The beginning of a series of conversations to bring out more truth in the world and to start a new level of dialogue, expansive enough to create actual change. Can we tap into our potential and create a new direction for human societies? Listen to history unfold in a way you have never heard it before via a deep exploration into each and every one of us, how we communicate and interact with each other and with ourselves.
